Playlists in scheduled channels​

You can now schedule JWX playlists in scheduled channels.

This allows you to set a start and end time in a scheduled channel where a playlist should be looped, rather than having to schedule each VOD individually.

24/7 streams​

In addition to Broadcast Live events, you can now schedule Broadcast Live 24/7 streams within scheduled channels.

In your channel's schedule, you can set a start and end time for your channel to cut into a 24/7 Broadcast Live stream.

User management​

You are now able to manage your Pop-up Channels users within the dashboard.

This allows you to invite new users, update user settings, and remove users.

Scheduler improvements​

We have made some improvements to the scheduler, including:

• Copy and paste scheduled items between days
• Keyboard shortcuts
• Live event start and end offsets
• Toggle whether overlaps should be allowed

Other improvements​

Other minor improvements in this version include:

• Random order option for looping playlist channels
• Toggle the VOD preroll when SSAI is enabled
• Channels list search and filters
• Default channel configuration
• Optional dark theme

New features​

Live mixing (beta)​

You can now enable a new option when creating scheduled channels, which allows you to mix in live content from JWX Broadcast Live.

In a scheduled channel with live mixing enabled, you can add live events to the schedule, allowing you to switch from VOD content to live content seamlessly.

Please note, live mixing is currently in beta. If you would like to try out this feature, please reach out to your JWX representative.

Improvements​

Scheduled channels​

The back-end architecture for scheduled channels has been rewritten for stability.

We have also made improvements to the scheduling UI, this should now be more refined and easier to use.

Front-end​

The front-end of Pop-up Channels has been updated, and rebranded to JWX.
