Preparing your content

Pop-up Channels uses your content directly from JWX. The system tries to condition your content as best as possible to be able to work together within the same channel. However, some differences between content can cause issues on some devices.

Therefore we would suggest ensuring the following matches across all your content:

  • Framerate
  • Aspect ratio
  • Resolution

CMAF VOD​

CMAF VOD allows much greater flexibility than Traditional VOD. This means that there are additional considerations for CMAF VOD content that will be used with Pop-up Channels. In addition to the above, you should also ensure the following are consistent across your CMAF VOD content:

  • Segment duration
  • Video codec
  • Audio codec
  • Caption format
